Every day and every night – through all four seasons – a
modern and historical fleet let people from all over the world experience our voyage. Sailing the Norwegian coast in midnight
sun or Northern light, through dramatic fjord landscapes and small picturesque seaside villages is something you will never
forget.
A land of sublime natural beauty, Norway’s breathtaking coastline is still the true heart of this
captivating wilderness, a land of plunging waterfalls and pristine fjords, primeval forests and majestic glaciers. Through
the changing seasons that set the rhythm of life for the locals, you can experience the friendly, truly Norwegian way of life
– on the authentic Norwegian voyage. We visit the kingdom of sea eagles, the Sami people and the stunning Lofoten islands.
Hurtigruten harbors 34 ports, some of just a few hundred inhabitants, delivering goods, mail and of course, our intrepid passengers
to places seldom seen by tourists on what we believe is the “world’s most beautiful voyage”.
Every day and every minute we offer first class nature phenomena, while people enjoy a casual
and quiet atmosphere. Our staff makes our passengers feel secure at the same time as we make them feel appreciated and welcomed
– whenever they want to experience the unique elements of the Norwegian nature and culture, or our more remote destinations
as Greenland, Spitsbergen or the Antarctic.
Today voyagers can do short
trips or long trips; they can enjoy a combination of activities on shore – while living on board, just as people could
do for more than a hundred years ago.
